
WRITE IT DOWN! 
DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT and
DOCUMENT!
Okay everyone, if you hear of anything that may
seem like "harassment" or maybe illegal activity, PLEASE WRITE IT DOWN
and include the date, time, names and a description of the situation.
We suggest that EVERY Dealer go
to Target or someplace, and purchase a small notebook to keep as a Diary of
events at work. To ensure fair treatment we must know how anyone is being
mistreated. If we fail to document things, then in two months time we will not
know the details. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
If you just "hear" about something that
happened to someone else, WRITE IT DOWN. If something happens to you, WRITE IT
DOWN. Then when we start our continued effort we will want to gather EVERYONE'S
documentation to see what we can do with it all. Maybe it will help in
negotiations. Maybe it will help in other ways. What we need everyone to do is
"create the paper trail" on management! This could help us achieve a
stronger contract and maybe even save someone's job.
We are hearing about some very disturbing actions
being taken by a few vindictive managers, thus reinforcing the reason WHY we
need the Union. They are taking every last stab at us they can while they can,
because soon they will be very limited in what they can do to us and everything
must be made very clear as to what they can and can not do to us and any results
of any actions taken. Another words, they will be losing "control",
and some just can't take that blow to their egos.
They like to say about how they will create a
"paper trail" on the Dealers, well it is now time that we create the
paper trails on THEM.
We have a long road ahead of us all. Go to work,
follow the rules and do your jobs. Do NOT give them opportunity to nitpick at
you. That just feeds their need for power. Do NOT feed them.
Things ARE going to change, but it is NOT an
overnight process. Be patient and in the end all will be much better. We will
have EQUAL power soon.
